Khaled Hosseini, the author of two remarkable books,
“The kite runner” and “A thousand splendid suns”.
In Dutch they are called “De vliegeraar” and “Duizend schitterende zonnen”.
I myself am not much of a reader, but these books really got
my attention. After reading the kite runner I just needed to
read the other book aswell. And what counts for most books and movies,
the second one isn’t as good as the first. But although they have
similarities, I loved the second one even more (can’t wait till there
will come a third). Because I loved these books so much, I am afraid to
see the movie. I only know people who have either read the
book or watched the movie. I am afraid the movie isn’t up to
my expectations and I will be disappointed. So if there is anyone
who has either read as watched the Kiterunner,
please let me know what your opinion is.
