In the whole world we drink 1.4 billion cups every day!
But what do we know about coffee?
If we look at the type of coffee’s existing, there are many types, like espresso, café au lait, café latte(similar as au lait, but made with espresso), cappuchino, frappe (espresso with sugar, water and ice), iced coffee(regular coffee with ice), americano (espresso with hot water), café breva, café macchiato, espresso con panna (espresso with whipped cream), instant coffee, rish coffee(with wiskey), coffee tubruk (Indonesian), lungo, melya(with cacao and honey), mocha and Greek coffee.
Probably the most extraordinary and for sure the most expensive coffee is
Kopi Luwak, coffee made of the digested beans of the palm civet, an Indonesian animal. This is not the only animal who has something to do with coffee, animals discovered coffee. A shepherd noticed his goats getting more active after eating these beans. And goats are not the only animals who like coffee, also monkeys eat these beans to stay more awake and focused.
But coffee is not really made of beans, actually it are the seeds of a cherry like fruit. The trees (Genus Coffea) grow best on vulcanic mountain sides and it takes five years for these seeds to be fully grown. To produce one pound of roasted coffee, you will need seven pounds of these cherrys. After oil coffee is the largerst export product and the part of the world they drink it the most is Scandinavia. In Brasil coffee is so popular, they even made a coffee scented stamp.

You will need:
20 crushed ice cubes
7 oz of strong coffee
2 tb of sugar
2 tb of syrup in the flavor you like
To make your frappe even better, you can add a couple of spoons of caramel flavored ice cream. Enjoy!
