02Sep Mac Donald’s secret menu
I am a vegetarian and a huge MacDonalds fan. But being a vegetarian makes it hard to order from the regular menu, mostly I would and up with fries and a milkshake. But since a while I am trying different things of the secret menu, like the Sundae charamel.
It started by ordering the vegetarian burger, a limited edition burger, which was long gone from the menu. They have had it for about half a year, when the vegetarian wrap came instead. I forgot completely about it and ordered, at my surprise they made it for me without any problems. Since then I like to try different things. Like the MacBruschetta, a bun with toasted tomatoes and onions, together with a Charamel Sundae, ice cream with caramel and chocolate sauce, so delicious! My boyfriend always orders the BigmacChicken, a Bigmac Bun, with two chicken burgers. Sometimes he even asks for bacon aswell.
At Digg there is an article about these secret menu’s at fast food restaurants. Like the Napolitean milkshake, which means all flavours in one cup and an in-and-out burger, a burger wrapped in salad instead off the bun.

on several occasions my wife and I have stopped into the Mac donalds on Glen osmond rd,south Australia between 10.00pm and 10.30pm after attending the theatre, on these occasions the Mc Cafe area was closed and the excuse given that the coffee machine had broken down, the area lights were off . this excuse was used several times and we noticed on Friday night the 11th of sept. a person seamingly the manager,a lady, explained to the staff member that the cafe shouldn’t be closed and that it must stay open till 11.00pm. we overheard this and were not surprised.
we also noticed on each occassion how unclean the customer area is, it seems to me that staff are more interested in shut down and cleaning behind the counter rather than concentrating on the customer, which I know is paramount in Mac Donalds standards.
