06Aug Search engine that pays for searching.
Recently I came across a fairly new search engine which pays you for searching, putting comments and voting on the search result. (more…)
31Jul Google adsense
When selecting the size of your Google Adsense code the 300×250 is by far the best performer. This square box works best when placed in the middle of the content towards the top. I commonly place the 300×250 ad block under my title and on top of my first paragraph. Sometimes I put the 300×250 ad block under the first paragraph if it is short but never below the second paragraph. Banners and skyscrapers may look better on your page but will perform much worse than the 300×250. Remember why you’re publishing your content; you want to make money not look pretty. (more…)

28Jul The spore creature
Spore, the next game from famed game designer Will Wright. The game is being shown behind closed doors by Will Wright himself, who takes viewers on an interactive guided tour of some of the game’s features.
Spore, starting with the Creature Creator, blurs the line between social networking and videogames. Strange bedfellows, sure, but an exciting prospect, particularly for a game whose content will spawn primarily from a rabid user-base. Every player (upon registering their game) is given their own page on the Spore community site, with RSS feeds tracking events in the game, their creatures’ ratings based on community votes (Trunk: hot or not?) and other in-game news.
